Brookie Mentor: TBD
Daisy is a sophomore at Stanford University studying Mechanical Engineering. Growing up in Jupiter, Florida, she watched rocket launches from her driveway and knew she wanted to be part of it someday. She hopes to contribute to humanity’s journey to Mars.
On campus, Daisy works on mechanical design for the Design/Build/Fly team, engineering a radio-controlled aircraft tailored to different missions in the annual AIAA competition. She is also passionate about outdoor accessibility and serves as a trip leader for Stanford’s Adventure Programs, where she guides camping and backpacking trips.
Previously, Daisy worked on the avionics team for Crew Starship, supporting the design, analysis, and testing of RF and power hardware for HLS. She is excited to return to SpaceX this summer to work on Starship’s upper stage structures.
Daisy enjoys surfing, climbing, and playing the violin. She is deeply grateful and honored to join the Brooke Owens Fellowship and looks forward to building a welcoming, inclusive community in aerospace!
