Wendy Rossi is an Aerospace Engineering major at the University of Texas at Austin. She’s currently an undergraduate researcher with the Akinwande Lab with a focus on 2D materials and has received an Undergraduate Research Fellowship for her work in underwater electrophysiology. In addition, she's involved with the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab (TREL), an interdisciplinary organization determined to launch a liquid bipropellant rocket into space, and manages the Payload team. On the weekends, she is a supervisor with TreeFolks and helps plant thousands of saplings in the greater Travis County area.

Wendy likes to call herself multidisciplinary, albeit busy, but she always manages to find time to read, draw, travel, and caffeinate herself. She aspires to pursue a career in aerospace engineering in hypersonics and sustainable flight, and as a Brooke Owens Fellow, she cannot wait to work at Hermeus as a Propulsion Intern.
