Olivia is a sophomore at Purdue University, majoring in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. She is passionate about expanding access to aerospace education and advancing STEM outreach in her community.

On campus, Olivia is deeply involved in leadership, professional development, and outreach. She serves as Campus Relations Committee Head for the Purdue Engineering Student Council and previously led registration for Industrial Roundtable, working with a team of eight to help organize the nation’s largest student-run career fair serving 400+ companies and 19,500+ students.

She is also the Co-Outreach Coordinator for Purdue Space Day. This annual event brings more than 500 students in grades 3-8 to campus for hands-on space and engineering activities hosted by 11 student organizations and supported by over 300 volunteers. Throughout the year, she helps lead similar outreach events at local schools.

Olivia is also a member of Purdue Old Masters and Rising Professionals and was selected as one of 50 hosts for the 2025 Old Masters program, where she welcomed distinguished alumni back to campus following an intensive professional development series to foster connection and inspire the next generation of Boilermakers.

Olivia is also a mentor through the Women in Engineering Mentors and Mentees Program, volunteers with the Purdue Society of Women Engineers’ outreach committee, served on the Professional Development Committee of the Purdue Alumni Student Experience Board of Directors, and is a member of the 2027 class of Purdue’s Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, a junior-senior service and leadership honor society.

Committed to service, Olivia served as the 2025 Conference Director for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), collaborating with a team of 25 volunteers to organize a 5-day leadership and service conference for over 70 high school students focused on community impact and personal growth.

Olivia previously interned at Woodward Inc. in Fort Collins, Colorado, as an Operations and Quality Engineering Intern, where she contributed to automating measurement processes for high-precision components used across industrial and aerospace applications.

In addition to her internship experience, Olivia founded and served as Director of a Space and Aviation STEM outreach camp hosted by Johnson College, bringing hands-on learning opportunities to students in her hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

Outside the classroom, Olivia enjoys skiing, hiking, intramural sports, traveling, and meeting new people. She looks forward to continuing to grow her technical and leadership skills as an Interior Technical Operations Intern at United Airlines this summer. She is excited to join the Brookie community and to help expand the future of space exploration!
